On last week's ER, Dr. Susan Lewis got a message on her answering machine from her six-year-old neice, Suzy, saying that she was in a hotel and couldn't wake up her mother. Dr. Lewis contacted the New York police and had an unsatisfying conversation with Bosco, so she flew to New York and rode with Bosco and Faith while they looked for her sister, Chloe, and six-year-old Suzy. It took Dr. Lewis awhile to admit that her sister used to have a drug problem, and could again be using. With the unwilling help of some junkies, Bosco and Faith finally tracked Chloe to a broken down bus along the river and brought her to the hospital. Chloe is stable, but doesn't remember what she did with Suzy, and says that her whole bender was caused by her New Jersey cop husband, Joe, breaking her heart. Dr. Lewis is now desperate to find Suzy.
